Laser Vision Correction Q & A with Dr. Chynn:

Q: Is the Laser Vision Correction surgery permanent?

A: For almost every Lasik patient the vision distance correction is permanent.  In rare cases vision can deteriorate again after the correction due to lifestyle, chronic health problems, and poor eye care.

Q: Can reading vision be corrected along with nearsightedness with Lasik?

A: For patients over 40, we can also remove the need for reading glasses at the same time by doing Monovision.  With this procedure, the non-dominant eye is used to help with reading and the dominant eye handles distance vision.

Q:  How does Dr. Chynn’s special financing plan work to be equal to the yearly amount spent on glasses or contacts and vision care?  A:  The Lasik patient calculates how much per year is being spent on glasses, contacts, and solutions. We accept the same amount per year from them until the total paid equals the cost of the surgery.   This makes for a highly affordable plan with the laser vision correction patient never paying one penny more than he has been spending every year on his vision health.  After the surgery costs are paid, the patient begins saving a substantial amount of money every year.
