I had LASEK on both of my eyes at Park Avenue Laser Vision and I love it! All of my worries and concerns were put to rest–Dr. Chynn has done this 10,000 times with a perfect track record, and his staff was very helpful and comforting. The entire procedure was over really quickly and I didn’t feel a thing. My sister came with me for my surgery, and is getting her eyes done just one week after I did, once she saw how easy it was. She is also now very happy that she had it done; it’s been life changing for her because she has high myopia. For her, it’s about waking up every morning and being able to see the clock clearly. For me, it’s about being able to play volleyball, go to the gym, go clubbing and do everything else in my life without having to squint through dry contact lenses. This was the easiest decision I’ve ever made! I highly recommend every one even thinking of doing it to just get evaluated and educate themselves on the procedure. The risks are so low these days that I think the concerns people usually have about LASEK don’t even exist anymore. There’s really no need to wait when you can be seeing through new eyes!
