CustomVue MonoVision after previous RK

I am interested in the “CustomVue Wavefront Lasek” procedure. But here are my concerns:

1) I had RK performed on my eyes about 15 years ago. It was OK at first, except for the star-burst effects at night. But over the years, my eyesight is not 20/20 anymore and I still wear glasses now. Can your procedure be of benefit to me? Have you performed this procedure on post RK patients with success?

Dr. Chynn responds:

Yes, you need a custom LASEK over your RK + MMC. We will discuss this with you more when you come in

2) How can I send you my complete records / history for your perusal?

Call my office for a HIPAA form to fax to your former surgeon

3) Does my insurance, United Healthcare, cover all or part of the cost?

part

4) If I decide to have this procedure, can I have it performed in a private room or must it be displayed publicly? I guess I’m just shy. :-)

Having Swan black it out costs another $100:)
