Monovision advice for a high-prescription patient
Dr. Chynn respons to a question from Martie, a prospective patient:
At your age (mid-30’s), like me, you should do monovision, like i did!
Then you can see well at both far and near and not need reading glasses!
I doubt your Rx is -16.00, as that would be very high, although i just lasered a -11.00 yesterday, and a -14.00 last week!
By the way, if your Rx is really -16.00, you don’t have any choice but to come to my center, as we are the only center in NYC not cutting flaps, so we are the only center in NYC who can safely treat your Rx by saving tissue by not cutting a flap!
