Request Information:
Category: Lasik
Where do you need this product or service? Matawan, NJ 07747

What best describes your vision problems? I have trouble seeing objects far away
What is your budget (per eye)? $1,000 - $1,500
When would you like the LASIK procedure performed? Within 30 Days
Age Group 31 - 40
Additional Details: Would like to know what’s the cost of having both eyes corrected with LASIK. Left eye is currently (L)-8.00 and Right Eye (R) -7.00.

We are not unethical, so we do not charge based on Rx. This is a common tactic of lower “bait-and-switch” centers, as a way to get you to come in–please visit my site and look at a hidden camera report by CBS that reveals this tactic

We base our price on which procedure is best for your individual eyes and we can’t determine that until we examine your eyes. This is why you need to call us and make an appointment for a free consultation.

Do you use Intra-Lase Laser to create the corneal flap?

I stopped doing LASIK about 6 years ago and stopped doing IntraLase about 4 years ago, because the former cuts a flap with a blade and the latter cuts a flap with a laser.  Cutting flaps and putting them back is by far the most risky part of the procedure (90% of all LASIK complications are flap-related.)  Instead, I exclusively perform a safer procedure that DOES NOT CUT ANY FLAP AT ALL IN YOUR EYE, thereby ELIMINATING 100% OF ALL FLAP RELATED COMPLICATIONS, and thus is 10x safer than LASIK or IntrLase.  Please visit my site below for more information about the more advanced, safer LASEK and epiLASEK procedures.

What is the make/model name of your Excimer laser equipment?

We use the VISX S4 IR laser, which has lasered more eyes than all other laser brands in the US–COMBINED.  Please don’t be fooled by centers that claim to have the “best” laser, as that is really an unrealistic term.  The MD with the worst laser could (legally) claim it is “best” as that is a purely qualitative term.  The REASON VISX has lasered 80% of all eyes in the US is it is simply the best platform, the most stable, largest laser cavity, most excess capacity, most stable fluence, etc.–I can do into more detail when you come in (if you wish).  Simply put, in the US, the VISX laser is the MOST EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE and also the MOST EXPENSIVE TO USE BY FAR, yet MORE DOCTORS USE THIS LASER THAN ALL OTHER BRANDS COMBINED. I wonder why–I guess maybe it must be really be the “best” then, right?
Please call my center with your remaining questions and to schedule a free consult with us–see you then!
