Insurance for LASEK
MEDICAL NOT VISION insurance is what you need for LASEK surgery. Vision insurance is for ODs, which are optometrists, like the kinds of “doctors” who never went to med school who do pre and postops at cheaper centers:) MEDICAL insurance is for MEDICAL doctors, or ophthalmologists, who are MDs, like myself and the 3 MDs who work for me:)
So what is iLasik with Wavefront? Is it better? What is the difference in cost? i-LASIK is cutting your eye’s cornea in half with a laser, then sandwiching it back together after the laser, which is only marginally better than cutting a flap with a metal blade. Park Avenuewe does LASEK and epi-LASEK, which does NOT involve cutting into your eye, does NOT require cutting a flap, and so is 10x safer with sharper vision than LASIK, i-LASIK, intraLase, or any other cutting procedure!

This is an average Rx for PALV to fix; about 30 sec of treatment time per eye, and we can probably make you see better than 20/20 if you choose our hi-def option!
