Have Dry Eye - LASIK Isn’t an Option

With a history of dry eyes, you should not have a LASIK, as that would make them more dry! PRK is an archaic procedure that is 20 years old, and I performed my last PRK over a decade ago, just to give you an idea how outdated that is.

This leaves you with the option of having a surface procedure.

LASEK and epi-LASEK are what are known by surgeons as “advanced surface ablations” that have replaced PRK by any MD worth his salt.

So that’s what you need, that’s what is best for people with dry eyes, and PALV have performed more of these than all other laser surgeons in NYC–combined!
Please call my office with your questions and schedule a free consult with us, see you soon.
