Contact Lens and Active Sports (Scuba, Snow Boarding, etc.) vs. LASEK

Q: I want to see the world through my own eyes without the aid of glasses or contacts, glasses are a hindrance in scuba diving snow boarding.

A: Yes, i used to use contacts or glasses under my scuba mask and it was the WORST, and dr almeida, one of my fellows, had problems w his glasses and contacts when he was skiing. now we both had laser, so we just both went snow boarding together w the staff last weekend, and it was PERFECT!:) so we’re looking forward to helping you get there, too!

BTW, Published studies have proved that long-terms use of extended wear contact lenses overnight is riskier than getting the non-cutting LASEK procedure!
