New York, NY – September 15, 2008: Dr. Chynn and www.ParkAvenueLaserVision.com, in conjunction with www.Execulife.com, successfully raised $2,000.00 for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, which has raised and distributed over $175 million to over 800 families and 950 children victims of the 9/11 tragedy. Recently, the Relief Fund has expanded its scope to include natural disasters such as hurricanes in the Gulf Coast.
Cantor Fitzgerald, the World Trade Center tenant most severely affected by the events of September 11, 2001, lost 658 employees at its World Trade Center headquarters. The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was founded in the wake of the attacks, to provide direct assistance to those who lost loved ones and has raised and distributed over $175 million to over 800 families and 950 children victims of the 9/11 tragedy. Dr. Chynn was one of the 1st MDs to volunteer at Ground Zero on 9/11 (include link to that article), set up the 1st Triage Center at Ground Zero, and was interviewed on national TV about the medical volunteers working that week, so he has a very personal interest in 9/11 charity work. |
